Your path in the jungle
I like using “jungle” as an analogy for life. It is complex. It looks ordered from a distance and detailed while you are within it.
There are major paths in that jungle. Most people walk on those paths as they trust that the crowd is on the right path.
But deep down, they still consider, “is it how it should be?”.
Roads are opened by walking. Each major path was started by someone by taking the initial steps.
Whenever possible, open your own path. You, and the path itself, will be awarded by thousands of followers behind you. But you need to open this path to have your followers.
No one walking on the main road is followed.
The crowd follows itself for its own continuity.
Take an “irregular” step. Take an “awkward” one. Let people call you “stupid” behind you for the fact that you are willing to start your own path.
And then, accept their comments. Accept “stupidity”. “Stupidity” for the major crowd can be extremely valuable in the long run.
It is worth doing it.
